60 Minutes did a piece yesterday on the influx of the millennial generation.
They examine us as a gimme gimme, technology obsessed generation that would rather find a satisfying career than just a job. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting a lifestyle that ultimately satisfies you, career and otherwise. But to say that the generation has been cuddled is a misconception, at least in my opinion. It's only fair to positively reinforce actions as most of our parents have done. I think the reason why we try not to settle or at least weigh our options is because we saw what our parents went through. No one wants toil all day long and to have little to show for it at the end of the day. Check out the whole segment here and tell us what you think of GenY aka THE MILENNIALS
