WELCOME TO THE BOARD TOM

Business First reports:
Huntington Bancshares CEO Thomas Hoaglin¹ has been elected to the board of American Electric Power Company Inc.
AEP said Hoaglin's election brings its board to 14 members. Company President and CEO Michael G. Morris serves as chairman.
Hoaglin, 58, also chairs four area boards, including the ColumbusChamber and OhioHealth, and serves as a director on five others. He became chairman, president and CEO of Huntington in 2001 and passed the presidency to Marty Adams, former CEO of Sky Financial Group Inc., upon Huntington's July 1 merger with the company.
Hoaglin will become president again upon Adams' retirement at the end of the year, halting his original plan to pass the company's leadership to Adams in 2010 and retire in 2011

[¹] he is one of the nicest influential ppl in this city and upon meeting, he doesn't give off that arrogant I have power vibes. Congrats to Mr. Hoaglin
