The Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift and Akon were a few of the artists that helped announce the nominees for the GRAMMY awards. Kanye West got 8 nods including Album of the Year, Amy Winehouse 6 including Album of the Year and best new artist. Taylor Swift also received a Best new artist nod, who said "This is the best day ever. I'm freaking out," said Swift, 18. "I really didn't think it was going to happen. I was about to cry."
