PRIVATE PRACTICE

Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann's first deputy asst. Brian Laliberte officially resigned after about a year in at the position and will be working full time at Baker+Hostetler. Business First reports that he left for personal reasons but was compensated $105,000 but the Dispatch says he made $125,000. Regardless, we think he jumped ship for the sanity and better pay(he and his wife are expecting a second child, which will increase their expenses, both present and future, and he is returning to his old job because it pays more money).

Also he led the attorney general's student loan practices investigation.
