Scanning through the ArtReview Power 100 list no one from this area made it for obvious reasons. It seems that these hedgefund/P.E'rs are just raking the money and investing in art big time. Anyways it got me thinking, who really are the powerful collectors/artists in this town. There's the requisite Pizutti mention but besides him, who else ranks amongst the top and why?
Takashi Murakami(LV murakami purses, Kanye west' CD cover etc) crackd the list and to the left is the $100million diamond skull by Damien Hirst-sick!
