William H. Klopfer and Mara "Icequeen" Ackermann Klopfer have been granted dissolution. Now he can freely be cad about town, oh wait he was that through the whole "marriage"
Reading the Sunday Dispatch article on downtown living, I realized some of the points made and comments were very asinine. So I googled the definition of downtown and I found this: "the central area or commercial center of a town or city" Some baby boomer/empty nester lady said she was so glad the sidewalk cleared after 6pm. Seriously? I would think the opposite. I am glad people are moving downtown but maybe what the Dispatch should do is a piece on what might keep it alive past 6pm. I just hope they don't turn city center into a bunch of condos. Whole Foods please?

No, not true just stating the fact that they're divorced.
I actually know them and they are both pretty good people. You must be a fan (or not) or you wouldn't even have mentioned it.
I wouldn't say a fan. We mentioned it because some of us saw the divorce coming and merely reiterated what was printed in the newspaper. We do not know Mara as well as Billy but we know ppl that are familiar with her and that's her external vibe. We're not trying to make anyone mad
Wow,sometimes when your own life lacks substance it is distracting to dwell in others failings and losses. A more solid person faces his/her life and whatever it brings to the table. Even if it means change. It is pretty lame to harp on people who deal with it rather than those who fake like everything is ok- or even worse those too afraid of failing at love to even give it a try- atleast they tried.
You claim you are just reiterating what was in the paper and that you aren't trying to take a jab at someone. I most certainly can guarantee you that the Columbus Dispatch did not call Mara an "icequeen" nor did they make your smart ass comment about Billy being cad about town. They are both very successful proffesional people and they just so happen to have gotten a divorce. So what- more than half of all marriages end in divorce. I'm pretty sure Billy and Mara aren't the only people in Columbus to ever get divorced. I think that your blog is very careless, heartless, and distasteful. If you had an ounce of class or a single moral fiber in your body you would take down this ridiculous blog and get a life.
